Rasmus is a Smoke Jaguar trueborn mechwarrior. Although he had a fairly successful career, he never earned a bloodname and was deemed to old to take part in Operation REVIVAL. He was instead assigned as a Star Captain of a solamha PGC unit. When the Company landed on Hyner, he decided to face them, secretly hoping that he could die in a blaze of glory that would end his suffering. Instead his Behemoth was crippled by massed artillery fire and he was forced to accept hegira and become a bondsman to the Company.

Rasmus is a skilled pilot and a decent tactician, but he maintains a somewhat suicidal view of combat.
