A native of the Duchy of Orloff, Toselli was a tank company commander with the armor unit attached to the Ninth Marik Militia, where he became friendly with Xavi Ferrer. When Ferrer decided to go mercenary, he was able to convince Toselli to join him by offering him a promotion to command the Company’s armor assets.

Toselli came from a humble background in a farming community on Orloff and never had the opportunity or connections to test into a mechwarrior position, although he believes he has the ability. Although he coordinates well with the mech forces of the Company, he will tolerate no elitism on the part of the Company’s mechwarriors towards his armor crews.
