Jim Nava joined the Company after their training duty on Terra for Comstar where he was a member of the Comguards. Suffering from constant pressure from his devout family to join the Word of Blake, Nava jumped at the chance to leave it all behind by joining the Company.

Nava served for five years in the company, participating in thirteen combat missions. He was killed on Acamar in 3062 during the civil war instigated by Liaoist sympathizers. Nava was the first unit combat dropped into the battle to free political prisoners. He attempted to hold the line in his Awesome while the remaining mechs combat dropped behind him. However, facing overwhelming fire, hit cockpit was hit multiple times and he was killed.
