Hatim Kadeer joined the Company while they were serving on Acamar. He just showed up one day and had a long private meeting with Colonel Ferrer. Shortly afterward, he was assigned a mech and placed on the TO&E without much explanation.

Kadeer is a skilled mechwarrior and apparently learned his trade at the Outreach Mercenary Training Command, having grown up on Outreach. Hhis mother is also a mechwarrior and hails from somewhere in the Duchy of Oriente. This has led to rumors that he may be the illegitimate son of the Colonel. Kadeer rebuffs all attempts to gain further information along these lines.
