Gulbahar Shorey is a born mercenary brat. Her father and mother both served with the Kell Hounds for decades, but Shorey decided against joining the “family” for two reasons. First, she was still hurting from her father’s death on The Rock during the intial Clan invasion. Second, a whirlwind romance with a senior officer turned sour and she couldn’t bear to see her former lover on a daily basis. Against her mother’s wishes, she traveled to Outreach, where she was recruited by the Company.
