Domingo Salas was a member of Xavier Ferrer’s lance in the Ninth Marik Militia. Salas comes from a minor noble family on Maritgues, but a series of disciplinary problems landed him in the Ninth. Under Ferrer’s leadership, he began to clean up his act and has actually demonstrated some leadership capability. He followed Xavier into mercenary life without question and brought his family’s legacy Wolverine with him.

Ferrer is clearly grooming Salas for a leadership position and has promoted him to the rank of Captain, which makes him the most senior ranking mechwarrior in the Company aside from Ferrer himself.
