Cristi Constantin is a native of the Trinity Worlds in the FWL. He has long been a member of the FWLM but not as an active mechwarrior. Having grown up in a poor family, Constantin joined the FWLM at age 18 and, after showing good technical aptitude, was assigned as a mech tech for the Ninth Marik Militia. He served adequately in this role, but while reparing mechs, he discoved that he had some aptitude for piloting them as well. When he was assigned to Xavi’s lance, Xavi noted this as well and petitioned for Constantin to be allowed to become a mechwarrior. This petition was turned down. When Xavi left, Constantin initially thought about going with him, but ultimately decided against it, still hoping to earn a spot as a mechwarrior. When it became apparent that this would not happen, he ultimately joined the Company when it expanded after the Jameson Gang contract.
